Yesterday coolsmartphone posted up a 26 minute video showing a full unboxing of the new HTC Wildfire. The video shows the app sharing feature, the “first turn on” setup sequence and a tour around the phone. The phone is sure to ecome a summer favourite with the tweens.
Many people have called this a “mini HTC Desire” or “mini Nexus One”, but the specs aren’t nearly similar.
You can’t compare the Desire and the Wildfire on the specs alone – the Wildfire has a slower 528Mhz CPU and a lower-resolution 3.2″ QVGA screen but you do still get:
The Wildfire will be a lot cheaper too, with 3UK, T-Mobile and Vodafone picking it up. It’ll also be available unlocked for around £200 from the usual places.

Bought a brand new Wildfire about a month ago as a enterprise phone but am very disillusioned , firstly i might have about 900 contacts on my previous XDA and was in a position to view by organisation or individual, not so on Wildfire solely by particular person which is of no use especially with no search option either. Android 2.2 is supposed to have search facility but not different view option launch date appears to vary each time . Battery fairly good approx 18 hrs medium usage. Bluetooth poor, paired with parrott automotive kit okay for day or so however won’t join even by unpairing and pairing new, identical drawback with bluetooth headset……..any concepts cannot discover anything on http://www.htcwildfireforum.com assist can be appreciated
