Leaked images have been aplenty across popular mobile blogs of new HTC concept phones, but nobody was quite sure what they were, and if there were ever destined for the uk.

Mobiles.co.uk now have, on their coming soon pages, the HTC Desire HD and the HTC Desire Z. Neither look much like their slightly older brother, however both have some notable hardware changes.



The HTC Desire HD has: Froyo 2.2 and a 4.3″ screen, 8 megapixel camera, WiFi, GPS, 720p HD video capture, accelerometer, 3G / HSDPA and Bluetooth 2.1.

This handset has been known as the Ace. It’s also listed under “Orange mobile phones”, which may signify that Orange will be picking it up first.



The HTC Desire Z is a QWERTY device. It’s queued up for Orange and has a 3.7″ (480×800 pixel) screen, GPS, WiFi, GPS and 3G / HSDPA. This model was previously known as the HTC Vision
